Of the level 3 protective spell wich one of them are the best?

Pyro's fire shield is hands down the best shield. It does insane damage to enemy units. It will also continue to do burn damage once you are out of range from the unit.

I don't think there is a "best". They vary in several ways. You might call ethereal the best at protecting you from damage, but its duration is so short as to be crippling in alot of circumstances.

I don't think there is a best, I really dislike ethereal form, because it has such a short duration it is almost pointless. I love the scarab though, so I guess I will have to live with 20 seconds of protection

Umm... Ethernal form doens't protect you from all types of protection. It's only missle attacks I believe.

You can use Pyro's protect spell to actually kill enemy units quickly.

Ethereal form protects you from just about
everything. Even desecration damage. I
have not been damaged by anything playing
in the solo game while I have had it on.
There may be some spells it does not
protect you against, or special abilities.

Not to mention that you can cast spells while in Ethereal form! One of my favorite tactics is to leave my manawhores somewhere, cast ethereal form, speed over the ridge and cast plague on an enemy manalith.

i hate stone skin...i can never kill anyone with stone skin on :P that i think is the best protective spell. However, i too like the scarab so i put up with ethereal form. :P
