I have just bought the game and i have some questions! Great game so far, but i have ome questions! When i start the game, the screen switch to the sacrifice menu at once. There is no intro or anything. Is there supposed to be and intro? I was a little disapointed, when i talked to the gods. I only get to see a picture of them, and hear their voices. I thought you could see the gods i their full glory when thy spoke, like in the movies at the Sacrifice webside, where their mouths are moving. Does this happen at any point in the game? The last question i have is, at your altar, i have seen a preview where one of the gods suddenly appears in a huge form. How can this happen? I would be true grateful if you would answer these questions, and sorry for my english, im from Denmark |
There isn't an intro. I believe that was just for promotion stuff, it gave me a bit of a surprise. I don't believe it ever does again I think it was just made for the preview rather than actual gameplay, of course I've never really watched a desecration fully :/ ------------------ So hold your head up high Let everyone see your weapons Let the enemy quake in fear At the sight of peace Marching down the road Holding its guns up Higher than its head -Meat Grinder |
Can answer alse say something!! |
The intro will appear when you start single player, but its not a rendered intro, its made using the game engine. Which frankly is certainly good enough! |
We were very lucky that we were able to set up the game so that there wasnt alot of screens that you had to go through to get to the menu. Interplay certainly has the right to do a big intro for themselves as well as all kinds of card info and adds, but they didnt push it down our throats and we appreciate that. All cinematics use the in game engine, such as the intro. It was good to retain the look of the game throughout and help it remain consistent. I'm not sure why you wouldnt be seeing the gods animating. That is a big part of the ethereal realm. We tried to make the large god scene appear above an enemy altar, but the logistics of it proved to be too much in the amount of time we had. This could only have been roughly achieved with a cinematic, and even then the god was very tiny and floating up above the altar in the air. Did'nt look good. ------------------ lord of irritation |
