CoD2 just came out, and is really good. Not sure about Quake 4, but CS:S is good also.

Well if your looking for a SP (Single Player) experience of your life get: Call of Duty 2, Far Cry, FEAR, HL2, HL1,Doom 3 (I guess). But if your looking for fun MP (Multiplayer) then look for Call of Duty 2, Counter Strike:Source,maybe some Quakes, and of course Battlefield 2.

Battlefield 1942 with mods, especially FH, Battlefield2, MOHAA, and many others. The BF-series are the best. ;)

Battlefield series, quakes r alrite too, just stay away from wolfenstein: enemy territory :uhoh:. and i recommend the best fps mp game ever made - Return to castle Wolfenstein :deal::0wned: - a ww2 fps, u play as american agent and u kill nazis, and have to stop secret biological research and stop hitler from resurrecting a dark knight, blabla... good story line for sp, but multiplayer pwnz! radio commands, medics can revive, LT's give ammo, engs blow things up etc... i play it for more than 3 years now, and havent got bored yet...

really, the first ones you should get are Half-Life 2 and Battlefield 2 (and of course the expansion, Special Forces) after that, i'd say Unreal Tournament (whatever year they're up to, i've only got till 2k4) uhh, Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault. ermm, not sure where to go from there... oh, The Godfather when it comes out. ermm. those are really some of the best out there that i've seen, and i know are coming. I heard Quake 4 was a clone of Doom 3, so if you really want to spend the extra $20, go right ahead.

how would you know with a 800mhz computer and a crappy gfx card which is older then yourself.
