Default Another Problem

Dont know if anyone has already posted this problem and i dont have time to check.

On my dell (cant remember what model) in Black and white 2 i have a problem where it has a big blue/green translucent square taking up more than 90% of the screen.

the specs of the hardware are:

2.6ghz celeron
512 ram
ATI Radeon 9200 graphics

This problem is most likely a hardware difficulty as i have had similar problems before in Quake 4 all the textures were green. this was fixed by editing the target of the shortcut. Weird solution i thought. anyone got an explanaton for that one? as i think that knowing that may help with future problems. Grr Darn Radeons

Only thing I could guess would be that your card sucks. Radeons are good. Just not 9200s, plus Geforce cards are buggy on black and white 2. Don't really have a temporary solution for you. I would recommend buying a new card if you can afford one. I have a 9800 pro and have never had any problems with any games.

It works ok, but with GeForce cards the hair on creatures doesn't show up. If the hair shows up for you then it's a rarity. Plus I have heard of numerous other bugs or glitches on other games that are GeForce specific.

But usually things work good enough to play. I mean Quake 4 runs on it. and nearly everything else. i think this shortcut thing might really be the solution.
