most people i know enjoy battlefield 2, but call of duty is pretty good also, bf2 bigger maps, cool vehicles, more people. CoD excellent single player and pretty good multiplayer.

I wouldn't recommend Dawn of War of you're looking for a game with any endurance. I completed it in a day. And of course you need DoW to play Winter Assault, it's the expansion pack.

O ok.

Looks like you guys r al saying battle field 2, is it just battle feild 1 of a specific series you have in mind?

So that way i can do google searches and stuff.

well there is only one title out for the PS2. If you are looking more for PC, it depends on you system specs. There are 3 titles out for the PC. i have them all, and like all of them. Also for the first 2 (bf1942 and bf vietnam) there are ALOT of mods to add on.

You have not played halo!

You can get it for about $20 today on the PC. If you have a decent PC you will enjoy it with most of the eye candy on. The single player is about 12 hours, the MP is still going will with about 500 maps avable for the game.

If you get Battlefield 1942, then you can end up with many free mods for it!

Battlefield (194)2 + FH mod and you will never play any other game again. I barly touched other games since FH was born, it simply owns! :p

If you're looking for a single player game, Call of Duty is probably the best. I would only suggest Battlefield 2 if you have a powerful machine.
