wont load maps

when i try to connect to a server and it starts loading the map nothing happens. i have been alt+tabbing out of the game a lot but idk if that has anything to do with it. now when i window out it wont go back into the game.

Any particular server or all of them ?

Be sure u meet min system requirements, particularly RAM and AGP RAM. It's a massive beast to load into the system. U may want to check on 'preload skins' tab and delete that box. Actually, best way to make progress is untick all the video settings and then add them back 1 by 1.

Have solved a few problems with a 6% overclock, shutting down all extraneous background program loads and as of this eve, using a little non intrusive WinRam Turbo Free (get it at majorgeeks.com).

Except for the usual poor ping time (though that has improved with tweaking also) it was running near flawlessly.
