For some reason when I played the Unreal 2 demo, the game was much more fun. Maybe it was because I played it on the computer, but when I played through the whole game on the X-box, it wasn't that fun at all. The graphics were bland, the enemies boring, and the game was way too short.

Get Mafia. Excelent story, and you will actually care what happens to your character. One of the greatest games ever.

Haha, historical accuracy in Mafia?! There is almost none of that in the game. Only things they got right are the style of car (kinda) and thats about it. Still fun though.

the race mission on the original release was a true exercise in frustration and madness but with the patches it becomes less harrowing. the rocket car mission in freestyle extreme is a whole diferent story . for $10 to $20 buck it is still a great experience , get it.

I liked that the race mission was so tough, because the feeling of satisfaction I got when I finally won (through honest means, as well...) was rather great. The patch has made it significantly easier, and gives you a few options before you start. Some of the options actually make it nearly impossible to lose unless you don't move at all...

The racing mission did nothing for me really... I liked stealing the race car and racing it so much more, doing fish tails around the street corners trying to go as fast as possible without even denting it, especially because of how fast it was, it flew like a bullet.

But my favorite mission was the mission when Sam gets shot at the gas station/bar and you go in to rescue paulie, that was a great mission, especially after you kill the big guy in the bar, and he comes back to life(or rather gets back up), classic. The sniper mission from the jail was good too, but those guys inside were rather stupid, why were there so many armed homeless people? heh.
