Toll neue Sacrifice-screenshots! Aber zu behaupten, Gamestar sei jedermans Lieblings-PC-Game-Heft, ist übertrieben! Ich mag PC Player mehr!!! :-)

All German magazines suck. Just think of that: Diablo got a 91% rating, because it's SOOO great(no comment on that one...) and Vampire got 85% because the savegame mechanism is horrible ( Of course the savegame mechanism in Diablo 2 is REALLY clever http://forums.voodooextreme.com/smile.gif). German magazines rate the games accoordingly to the advertisements in their monthly issues http://forums.voodooextreme.com/frown.gif

Ich weiss nicht wie lang du schon die PcPlayer liest aber nachdem ja alle guten leute (Jörg L., Heinrich L., Toni S. etc.) zu GameStar gewechselt haben und ich sie zum Teil ja auch persönlich kenne _musste_ ich ja fast schon umsteigen. You're propably kinda right but it really aint that extreme. I mean Diablo2 _is_ a neat game and good fun. As for Vampire I can say that the save mechanism obviously was crap and really pissed me off.
BTW: If you were right then GameStar wouldnt have given Soldier of Fortune such a good rating!

The saving mechanism in Diablo 2 should have pissed you off, too 'cause it's even more horrible than the one in Vampire( Leaving te game if you want to save and come back later with all the monsters revived and you back in your home base is not what I call userfriendly).
SOF doesn't count http://forums.voodooextreme.com/smile.gif If they would have done advertisement the BPJS would have claimed the right to "send these heathen bastards to the hell they came from"(ie introducing the death penalty back in Germany http://forums.voodooextreme.com/wink.gif)

It's just that I think Diablo2 was the much better game... (except for the Graphics. Vampire hat FANTASTIC gfx!)
I just dont think that german mags are worse than the mags anywhere else on the world. If you look at most of the UK mags (except PcGamer) you see that most of them have a 'childish' layout and also do the reviews like they were testing some porduct for 6 year olds. Thats why I like german mags, they see it as a more 'mature' market.
