Some information about a demo of The Alliance?
 

Hey guys, I'm new at this forum. Does anyone of you know, if a single-player demo from Stargate SG1 - The Alliance is comming out? If yes, what date will it bee.

Sorry, if there are spelling mistakes, I'm from Germany.

As of this point there has not been any information released from the developers to say weather or not a demo of the game will be released.

Correct me if I'm wrong..

Even if there will be a demo, most companies won't release a demo until close to the release date or right after the game has been released.

humm game has only bin on the books for about 3 months.

It has not! . . its been in the books since late august last year. . . its just... they really didnt do anything about it

Yea demos usually come out a motnh or so before the release, that way they give the best possible demmostration to how the full game will be. They also usually happen after or around the game going gold

Hmm, I hope that's right. Another topic. Does anywhone know what kind of System Requirements the game needs? The CPU is no problem, I have a Pentium 4 with 3GHz. That should be enough. But I believ the Graphics Card could be a problem. ( ATI Radeon 9800Pro 128Mb )

if it is on the unreal 2.5 engen as is swat4 it will run fine but what is your RAM size.

i got a 2.4(Oclock @ 3ghz) 1gb ram an radion 9600SE 128mb ram an i got no peob with swat4 an i max it out at 1200x1024 an all setting at highest an pixle shader 2.0 enabled(cant use 3.0 old card):deal:

Looks like some good news. I've been frequenting the official forums as well and the only thing I remember seeing on those forums about a release date is Q4 2005. Who's to say if that info has changed or not. Still a good find though.

It doesn't give any information about a demo. I wouldn't get your hopes up just yet. Releases tend to be pushed back since usually something unexpected happens.
