Doing Para training allows access to the Airborne Division Tour maps to be played on (optional).
Doing all of Medic training (the training with the lectures and such) allows you to be able to have the option of being a Medic in game (snipers and squad leader roles cannot be medics). Being a "successful" medic (by healing people) gives you extra points. (optional)
Getting a 36/40 on the rifle range and becoming an "Expert Marksman" gains you access to the Advanced Marksmanship Training. Completing Advanced Markmanship Training allows you to be a Sniper (sniper rifle weapon) on maps that allow sniper guns (usually large outdoor maps). (optional - you can still play all maps and not have this done)
Completeing BOTH Para Training and Medic Training gains you access to the Mountain Division Tour, the Ranger Division Tour maps, and the Special Forces Maps as an Indiginous Forces (allied native that uses AK/opfor style weapons, not a US Soldier). Also, complete these both gains you access to the very challanging, Special Forces Training.
Completeing Special Forces training allows to to be a US Soldier on SF levels and use a Sopmod M4 (correct me if name is wrong), which is a custimizable weapon (to custimize it go to "Weapon Mods" on your personall jacket). It also allows access to the SF Exclusive map, Pipline SF. NOTE: In order to play as an SF Soldier, you MUST have 15 honor along with the training. Also, if you complete SF Training, you pretty much have unlocked all of the maps.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Incase you havent figured out, this game is ONLINE ONLY. It has no real single player, although a kind one is going to be implemented in the near future (supposidly).
To play the maps, you must click on the Deploy tab and make sure your under the "Internet" section. Its pretty much self explanitory from there. Just pick a map you want to play on.
There is A WHOLE lot more in THE MANUAL (yes there is one!)! I suggest you read the stuff you dont know. |
