Hi im new to this game and I have a really stupid question...What do I have to download to play americas army and all its expansions?
I know it sounds stupid but its confusing where can i go to download it?
There is alot of patches etc..
What are the games called is there just Americas army and then special forces or? Please have pitty and help a noob out.:cya:

download and install this:

then download this and upgrade it:

use DOWNLOAD MANAGER to download the above to not risk disconnection during download. download manager examples: getright, download accelerator plus

So these 2 downloads will give me up to date AA game?

Anything else I need to add?? special map packs or anything like that?

youll only need special maps packs, to play in servers which arent hosting default maps, or if you yourself want to host a server with a new map. Maps should automatically download upon entry into a new server map.

blitz shouldn't talk of games he doesn't know ;)

America's Army does not have any custom maps or mods. the development team are the only people who make maps and changes to this game, and when they do you can find out on http://www.americasarmy.com. the forums there have people who can answer any question you have (if the people here can't, that is ;)).

Yes, but there are new maps around, apart from the origianls, is there not?

no. nothing un-official is made for the game. no maps, no mods, nothing.
