for racing games if you dont like really realistic racing games then id recommend Burnout 2, or you can wait till Burnout 3 (which will be kick-ass) which comes out sept.
for survival horro, try the ones already posted, resident evil or silent hill

Waht ever you do DO NOT! Get NFS Underground 2 or Underground 1. Insted get NFS hot pursiut 2(hotpursit 1 was on the PS1) And GT4/GT3. And Try MOH Frontline. I'm, not sure if you ever herd of Ace combat 4 If you can find it get it. And there coming out with Ace combat 5 in the fall

NO, you should get them as well. They are highly polished well done racing games. I wouldn't really recommend Gran Turismo however...its quite boring. No, not quite, its VERY boring.

You also need to learn common racing words like apex, Understeer(nasty issue i have when going to fast around corrners), and oversteer. And you need to know alot of car atomny.
I'd love to see a replay of Exploder playing Gt3:lol:
