Are you sure you aren't just spamming again?

Punkbuster is an increasingly used program that scours your CPU and checks the game directory of the game that it comes with to scan for potential cheats. If you are found cheating it will either kick or ban you from the server you joined and possibly add you to a list of known hackers/cheaters.

Don't try and get around it. :)

PB is the greatest thing for online gaming. COD was filled with cheaters and hackers and when PB came out I suddenly got alot better, hmmm...

Americas Army relys heavily on Punkbuster for Anti cheat and it works great. It is true some hacks make it by the sytem, but PB autoupdates itself to work against the newer hacks.

Some games like RTCW, Quake 3 and Counter Strike have outdated and unfrequently updated Punkbuster clients built into there games, so PB dosn't work to well with those games.

But overall its a great tool for anti cheat and hacks in online PC gaming.

i still see punkepuster as the most useless thing i have ever seen:mad: . when i play BFV with PB all i see i ppl getting kicked for trying to update the stupid thing. The server admins are too lazy to sit and watch the game.

I think there should be more explanation on how to update the game. I remember that happening to me a few times in BFV and I had to google to find a way to update it. While that wasn't hard, it should have been more user friendly. It should have told me where to get to get updated PB after I got kicked.

I hate PB, it is not user friendly at all. And it kicks for random shit. I dislike it greatly.
