An odd question

OK firstly I`m not sure whether this is the correct forum or not to put this thread, if it`s not, feel free to move it.

My question is: how does Heather from Silent Hill 3 actaully wore her boots? Her boots don`t have any zips or laces or something.

Here are some screenshots for you guys to refer:
http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/adventur...reenindex.html

Feel free to scroll through all the screenshots in the index(obviously only the screenshots where you can see the sides of her boots), and try and answer.(try page 11 on the screenshots index and click on the screenshots that show Heather, you can get a clear view of her feet.)

Re: An odd question

I doubt it, her boots look more like they`re made of leather, and its difficult to squeeze your feet in leather boots of that length and diameter.

Re: An odd question

There is a simple answer here...its only a game :p

Re: An odd question

Despite being a game, this is not quite acceptable.Other than that I really wouldn`t bother with a game`s realism.

There only shoes, my guess is they couldn't be stuffed putting the detail on them.

Re: An odd question

They look alot like wellies, if so, you just slip them on, no need for buckles/zips etc. Teh Simple. :p

Re: An odd question

LMAO, the game developers probably never expected anybody to analyse shoes this closely

Exploder May 13th, 2004 10:08 PM

Re: An odd question

Wellies are made of rubber, not leather...is it?

I have a pair of riding boots that go well up to my knee and they don't have any zips or anything else of the sort, simply slide on.

Re: An odd question

the real question is, where did she learn to use a Uzi? no way would a teenage GIRL just grab a submachine gun and start spraying lead. she'd probably drop it after one shot in a panic "oh no i broke a nail!" and then jam the gun somehow while trying to reload. you can already tell she's a n3wb because of shooting from the hip. can't aim worth crud like that. (unless maybe you've got a laser sight like in Nocturne)

(only played the demo, so maybe it explains why in the full game  )

Re: An odd question

Thanks dude I never knew the SMG in the game was a Uzi(I never played it before so at first I thought it was an MP5)

Well, poke fun at the name all ya want but I think it's an awesome name. It's also memorable. For instance, if I killed somebody in Unreal I think they could remember the name Derangdhobo.
