Server Problems... Any help availebol?
 

Hi. im having some problems setting up servers in Tribes2.
I have set up an Ultra_Renegades mod server.
And now i need to set up a Base mod server.

I guess you could change the mod by using tricon2. But since the Base server keeps rebooting all the time the tricon wont go up.

So the problem is that the tribes2 Base mod keeps rebooting.
The Ultra_Renegades mod server is running as it should.

I have changed the port, i have tryed to have two tribes2 installed to run one mod on each one. And yes, it is updated.

Any suggjestion on what it could be? Please let me know.

Delete every dso under tribes 2 if you haven't. About hosting two servers off one PC with the same game dir. I've never tried it myself but it's very possible it wouldn't work outof a single game directory. Try each one seperately first...

PS,

Easy way to delete all the DSOs. (if you're in XP)

1.Right click your root game folder and choose Search

2.Look for *.dso

3.Delete them all to recycling bin if you're worried about the info I'm givin you



As to what DSOs are, I'm pretty sure it's a compiled version of all the configs and suc things you write in script for the game. That way once you start the game it'll recompile from the scripts and run just the same.
