Personally, I can't stand keyboard and mouse. I'm hunched over my keys and moving my mouse ten million times just to look around. Lets look at all the buttons on one Xbox "S" controller:

Two (2) thumbsticks (one could be used for 360 degree movement and the other for 360 degree viewing)

Two (2) triggers

One (1) eight (8) Movement thumb pad

Eight (8) buttons

Two (2) thumb stick buttons

Thats a total of twenty-two (22) input buttons, all right at your fingertips! No hunching over a keyboard, no ten thousand movements with the mouse.

The only reason people may prefer keyboard/mouse is probably because Valve did'nt want to take the time to optimise a PC Game for a controller, since there are a million different controllers on the market that could be used for the PC, and supplying support for all those controllers would be a nightmare.

I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW SOMEONE COULD POSSIBLY PREFER A KEYBOARD/MOUSE OVER A CONTROLLER. YOU GUYS MUST BE MORONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About that, I prefer mouse over a thumbstick because you can be more accurate, otherwise I agree on the buttons.

the whole reason why i hate the x box is because it has too many freakin buttons!when ever i play multiplayer halo with my buddies i end up wanting to throw the controller out of the window in complete madness because i would press "zoom in" instead of "fire"but with the mouse and keyboard you shoot with your right hand and move with your left hand but with the xbox bassically each finger has it's own button to push...so you sometimes have to move them around like cazy in order to play very fast...but then again...i may just be too stupid to use the xbox contoller...lol...we all have our own opinions...peace

Hmm, I find the problem of controllers, is that no matter what you do, they are too limiting.

22, vs 100+ Thats a BIG difference. I do have Diablo_Spitt_41's problem with a keyboard. I accentally press "F1" and bring up help, when I'm trying to press "F2" to get the chat. Or "V" and end up dropping a grenade at my feet, when I'm trying to press"C" to crouch for cover.

Its easier to use a controller for me, but for shooters and RTS games it gets very limiting, and yet consoles seem to give me an advantage in FPS games.

I think the n64 had more...like 16 or 18 and I only used about 10 of them

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! HA! I did the same muthafreakin thing on the sims - the only fun I had was trapping people in walls so they die. Did you ever see that teleporting thing before? Well, I used it to teleport like all the people in the neighborhood into a room - some tried to go back into it, but I blocked it off and kept teleporting more in until the whole damned neighborhood was pissing on the floors in that room. Eventually, obviously, they all starved to death (some burned to death or got electrocuted, but that's a bigger story). So, with tons of piss on the floors, everyone had the hygiene of the bottom of a porta-potty! HAHA! Eventually, the grim reaper just took 'em all away and now I have a house in the game all full of freakin ghosts! Excellent - now that is interesting!!! Of course, after that event, I never reopened the room - I just left the ashes of burnt appliances and puddles on the floor just to have a gross memorial to the 45 dead people that that house victimized!

Now as for what I thought was the stupidest worst game ever, I'd have to say that...I don't know. I've never bought a bad game in my life - all the games I ever bought or played had a 7/10 rating or above (except Driver3 - GMR magazine gave that like a 6/10 rating - the problem with that game was that after you beat it once, you don't really feel like doing it all over again a second or third time). I'd say right now my most favorite game is Lord of the Rings: The Third Age - but that's because I'm currently absolutely addicted to it - I stayed up one weekend for 48 hours just doing nothing but playing that (and eating and etc, everything except sleeping)!

well i'm very picky about games, last 3 games that really impressed me and could keep my attention for more than 2 years were quake 3 arena (oh, yea, rocket arena), RTCW (lol i remember the times when i played this for 10 hours per day awesome game for it's times... and it still is), and of course bf1942 with it's mods.

but it think the most crappiest ones are all the sports games, sims & co., tomb raider, and all the games like harry potter and gothic (<---geeeeeeeeeeeeeeez that one) where u walk around and pick some shit and time-to time kill some madafaka.
boring as hell. i played those things till i was 8 and thenm i got red alert 2 and then rtcw which was best of the best of the best for me
