Default Server Auto Switches Server.ini????

Well, I figured I'd post this here so someone with a lot more knowledge than I have, might be able to help me out.

I run a game server co. and have recently put up 2 new AA games for clients. The first game I installed...and it runs fine.

The 2nd, I copied over the 1st users files (all linux based on a linux machine) and then changed ownership of the files and directories. It runs fine except for one issue. This is probably how the 1st client set his up, but I have no idea of how to fix/change this...

My 2nd client has his own server.ini file. This sets the name of the server and other various parameters that they wish to use. The problem is that after a certain amount of time, or if the server should crash, the game restarts and is using information (server name etc.) from the 1st client (the one who originally set the game up). What I would like to do is change this so the game doesn't automatically restart/reset and locate that other server.ini file that keeps kicking in. I have looked for it, but cannot find where it is located.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Well, it turns out there is a glitch in the game. And would probably only have an immediate impact if you have more than one game on the same IP...which I do. When maps were being changed through rcon, it was restarting and incrementing the port number by 1. So everytime a map was changed, the port number was increasing. So if you have more than one game on the IP, and both ports turn out to be the same...look out...you start reading each others files.

So...a script has been written to prevent this, and all is well.

Regards,
