Cant open AA file

I recently downloaded the newest AA file and I tried to open it and it gives me the error "Attempt to access invalid address." I have windows XP if it matters at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At what step are you getting this message? Logging into your PJ?

By the way you did register at the AA site, right!

If your tring to Create Account threw game, you have to be on-line.
