Good Cheap Web Host
 

Hey everyone, I just thought I'd share a little info with my fellow gamers. I found a pretty reliable but quite cheap web host company. Their prices are like $30/yr for 50MB and $13.95 for a domain name. SUPER FAST SPEED TOO! downloading stuff w/ cable off the server was amazingly fast.

ok heres the thing im planing to take over the world and make you all my petty under paid slaves yadda yadda anyways i need a good web hosting to store my virus that will take over all the electronics so whats the biggest amount of room i can have?

um, wtf? are u serious? i dun think ANYONE would give u any space to store a virus

$30 a year, your kidding right? Im sure you can get much better deals than that...........

The best thing to do for a good domain name, is sign up at www.freeola.com for a free one, (unlimited bandwidth, no banner ads) and the URL is www.???.???.com............

BUT, then go to www.dot.tk and get a free www.???.tk address, that will point to your freeola account..... so all in all, here is what you get....

FREE: www.???.tk
FREE: No banner ads
FREE: Unlimited Bandwidth
FREE: PhP (no my SQL)

And total cash spent = $0.00 ;)

And thats the trick of Web Mastering :) rofl.

Yea, it would work breslin, except for two major flaws:

1) You must live in the UK (i beleve you do)
2) You need a dial-up modem to acsess the FTP server ;) on the freeola account

But the .TK thing is available to all ;)

no such thing as "Unlimited bandwidth"
There is a cap if you use too much because they only get a certain amount of bandwidth themselves. Its just false advertising to entice people who don't know.

As for "i'm sure u can get a better deal"...most sites who charge really little usually run outta business because they don't profit enough to stay above water...sooo u could go w/ a cheap one..until they close down within a few months

There is no limet on the bandwidth you can use, (as in, you can upload a new file as meny times as you like, no limet to the transfer) but, there is about 1gb space availalble to you.

There are two folders too, one to store your files online (privatly) and one for online stuff (web sites)

Perhaps im not too clear sorry.

hmmm that sounds cool mabey that is where i shall store all of my vikki pics that i am going to accumulate over these coming years.

In short most places that offer "unlimited bandwidth" have, in VERY fine print, a limit as to how much you can actually use without being charged.

u stole my plan for world domination. no. i'm thinking of something like takeing over several national news stations and make it say "vote sean for world dictatior". think it would work. :confused:
