Freespace 1/Silent Threat/Freespace 2 talk
 

if you want to say something about the freespace games, post here

(yes, I know they are old games, but the graphics are still exelent!)

I played about 20minutes of Freespace one, not too bad.

freespace 2 became abandonware is it was free to download.

I tested it and i liked it. :)

got bored after a while, the missions where too easy for me.

:cry: I want broadband!!!

I edventualy have to get if off E-bay

a lot of the missions where easy, but some of the later ones where hard (I never could get past the one where you disable the BIG ships turrets before it reaches the Collossus, It always jumped out too fast)

yeah, it was up for only a few days.

then it was removed.:(

It may not have done well, but it was why ahead of it's time

(It still rivles Graphics today)

Freespace 2 was definitely a treasure. I could never get a hold of it anywhere so I just downloaded a ripped copy off of a friend. the part that sucked was that the fred2 program was missing and that it would not work with The Babylon project. does anyone know where to find a free version of FRED2 ?

Please do. it is an excellent game, one of few that should have continued, for it showed us the future of gaming, and truly, that future has just started to arrive. I must warn you however, the levels where you start to find out that there are more Juggernauts, get increasingly difficult and high paced, but it will become enjoyable just as quickly. good luck.
