Any 3dfiles vets out there? I started going to www.3dfxmania.com aka 3dfiles.com ever since i got voodoo1 card., but in recent years the site went to crap. The site use to be updated alot more and had alot of extra odd 3d related stuff. They also use to have better servers. anyone remember "epix". zdnet has really horrible servers. I only pull 12kbs and this is on an OC3 connection. Its sad because it use to be the best site on the internet 3 years ago. Voodooextreme is way better. Anyone out there remember the glory days of 3dfiles.com? Are their any vets out there? |
I do, It's funny you say that about going there since a Voodoo I, that was my reason too for stopping in there initially whilst I lived in Atlanta Ga. from 1995-1999... hitting 3dfiles in 1996 I believe if memory serves me right, or early 1997 as 3dfxmania! I got into the messageboards there & hung out there for 5 years time... good fun, it displaced IRC as my favorite hangout in fact! * Would I call myself a "veteran" there?
