Re: Cruise line disaster While I don't know how bad the damage is, why can't they send out a repair crew and parts to get the ship running rather than tow it to port. Since the main engine is needed for so many functions on the ship getting it back up ASAP should be the first order of business. They were able to bring food and supplies in by ship, why could they not do the same for engine parts and the mechanics? |
Re: Cruise line disaster If the engine is completely borked, they can't do a thing about it. They're fucking huge. I'm quite certain that if it was possible, someone in the thousands of people who work on cruise ships for decades would have suggested it. ;) |
