Rep Power: 42 | Re: Antibiotic Azithromycin I had antibiotics a few years ago for a particularly nasty chest infection (which unfortunately manifested itself while I was carrying my steel-framed push bike down a flight of stairs and I collapsed). I don't know what kind of antibiotics they were, but they caused some degree of digestive problems. No loss of smell though, and the digestive problems ceased when I stopped taking them.
I don't think you should be having antibiotics for a cold or the flu though. To my knowledge both of those illnesses are viral in nature, and antibiotics will not affect them if so. |
