This is one where we get to share things about us that aren't too revealing if you don't want.
To start off:
What things have you done that you are proud of yourself for doing?
What things have you done that you regret doing and wish you could do over?
Have you ever had anything happen to you that you regret that was (for the most part) beyond your control?
Have you ever grown up with any good friends that you never talk to or see anymore?
What is your dream job? (realistically, not ruler of the universe, we'd all do that if we could )
Are you happy where you are in life now?
What would make you happy?
How do you feel?
You think the only people who are people, are the people who look and think like you.
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger,
You'll learn things you never knew, you never knew.
1 Not proud in the literal meanings, but I'm glad I joined a charity organisation and made a will that a part of my property be given to that organisation. Not that I'm a millionaire, but I'm glad I did my part.
That, and one more thing.
2 I behaved with my parents inappropriately a few times. Of all the wicked things I've done, this was the worst.
3 Let mE finish counting first.
4 Yes. I had few friends in my highschool and college days which I lost in the crowd of the world.
5 Handicraft carpenter with part time writer.
6 Yes
7 Improving myself would make mE further happy.
8 I'm contented with my life but its not the end. There are a number of destinations to be achieved yet.
Its all a Chequer-board of Nights and Days
Where Destiny with Men for Pieces plays
Hither and thither moves, and mates, and slays
And one by one back in the Closet lays
What things have you done that you are proud of yourself for doing?
I built a set of shelves and a gate, oh and I've found a faster way of doing something for a group I was working with, and I've done quite a lot of briefings for some fairly important people, and I've put together some people who were working in the same area so they can get along better, and I've helped some people who were trying to look into things.
Basically I like being useful, I guess. Especially where it involves solving problems that are going to be useful going forwards without my being there to keep forcing the solution down people's throats.
All the things you'd think I might be proud of, like my degree, I don't give a shit about. Beyond being glad it was over I didn't even get a momentary hit of happiness when I had the thing in my hands. Straight into the plastic folder with it, along with all the other qualifications.
What things have you done that you regret doing and wish you could do over?
Trusted parents too much when I was younger. Never really developed much of a sense of humour that wasn't a bit brutal and limited in scope. Niche humour I guess describes my jokes - fetish humour . But this is largely wishing to be a different person rather than anything actively done....
Have you ever had anything happen to you that you regret that was (for the most part) beyond your control?
Yeah, sure, I can trace most of my issues fairly directly back to my parents. If they lied less I'd probably be more trusting and have got better advice from them when I did trust them - if I were more trusting then I'd have had closer relationships.... If they'd watched less TV and spent more time being social then.... If they'd
-shrug-
The more I interact with people in a professional environment the more I realise many of the things they've actively tried to kill off over the years; friendliness, willingness to involve yourself with others problems, decisiveness in driving forwards issues... and so on; are generally considered virtues. Whereas growing up they were generally considered bothers that got in the way of the TV.
I remember, when I was younger, I always used to do the washing up - and I was happy to do it, you know? It was something nice to do for people, at some point we got a dishwasher and by the time that broke and we were asked to do it by hand again... well, I certainly didn't want to do it anymore. Something was lost between those two points. I honestly think that TV had a lot to do with it - worst decision my parents ever made was to get that mental drug in the house and for them to become addicts.
Have you ever grown up with any good friends that you never talk to or see anymore?
Yeah, there's a guy who visits his grandmother next door that I used to know quite well when I was a kid. But I tend to avoid him these days because... well, what would we have to say to each other? I'm not exactly massively interested in starwars anymore. He wants to talk about where we are in our lives and I've little interest in doing that. Tend to be a fairly reserved person.
What is your dream job? (realistically, not ruler of the universe, we'd all do that if we could )
Head of my own company. Isn't this the sort of thing everyone wishes to do? To have the power to actually play with the ideas that they have for all the things they could do better? Haven't we all thought: I know more than the HR person - I should be arranging hiring; I know more than the manager - I should be setting management policy....
Are you happy where you are in life now?
I don't feel much either way about it.
What would make you happy?
Solving problems that people have to make things better. I like solving problems. The more problems I can solve in a given space of time, the more complex they are, and the better the results of having done so, generally the better my mood.
I'm also fairly happy engaging in martial arts. But that's because it's a kinesthetic rush.
How do you feel?
-shrug- I don't know what the right answer is for that.
I just sort of exist at a certain baseline of relatively bored apathy most of the time. In a sense this is almost like - go and bother someone else if you want to talk about feelings, I'm not paid to have them very often.

What things have you done that you are proud of yourself for doing?
I taught myself to read and to do basic math before ever starting school. How? DoS and my sister's math book, plus a little help from others to make sure I was getting things right. Sure, that might have been twenty years ago, but it is still something that I am proud of.
Other things I am proud of include being in a class for gifted children for a large part of my childhood, solving a real murder case for said class*, learning that I was the smartest person in my entire grade when I was nine or ten years old, and starting full time college at fifteen or sixteen years old.

I regret doing many things, but I don't wish I could do anything over. Everything that has happened in my life, good, bad, big, or small, has made me who I am today. I don't have any major issues with who I am (Outside of my extreme lack of motivation) so I don't really want to do anything over.

Who hasn't?

Actually, that is the case with every single friend I had while growing up. Of course, they weren't really friends, but at the time I was too naive to realize it. That's why I never talk to them. I never see them because I moved away from where I grew up.

I have two answers to this question. The first would be the best answer: game designer. If you wish for me to get more specific, I would prolly say 2D artist for games or perhaps game concept artist. It is the only career I have ever seriously considered. The second answer is actually a job that had before: Video game tester. I mean, come on, you get paid to play games all day! The only downsides are that the pay isn't that great, and the work isn't too consistent.

More or less, yeah. I mean, there are things that I'd like to improve, but it isn't important enough for me to make any major life changes.

Feeling like I belong.** To be completely honest, I have never felt like I have truly belonged where I happened to be since I was very little, around three or four years old. Everywhere I go, I feel like either I don't want to be there, or others don't want me to be there.

Oh, you meant emotionally... Uhhh... Okay, I guess. At the moment I am neither happy nor sad. Just sorta... neutral.
* It wasn't an extremely complicated case, and it had of course already been solved by the police, but we were given all the information (With names changed) and told to get to work on figuring out who did it.
** Yes, I realize how emo that sounds.

What things have you done that you are proud of yourself for doing?
- In the summer of 2008 I went to La Pesca, Mexica (A fishing village). With a group of people we helped them build some homes. We also got to visit a orphanage, play with the children for a day. Which all of it was really an amazing experience. I don't know much Spanish, even though there was that language barrier between us (mostly talking about me and the children), we still were able to laugh and have a good time. I'm very proud of myself for going, I have always wanted to go somewhere and help others who were in need.
What things have you done that you regret doing and wish you could do over?
- Sure there are many things I regret doing in my past, but would I do over? No. What all I have done has brought me to this point in my life, I love my life and wouldn't change it.
Have you ever had anything happen to you that you regret that was (for the most part) beyond your control?
- A few things.
Have you ever grown up with any good friends that you never talk to or see anymore?
- Yeah, one that actually just ended this past year. We were so called "Best Friends" for 14 years. Overall she wasn't a good friend. I was the person that was always there for her, she needed someone to talk to (I was there), she would get kicked out of her house (which happened way more then five times, guess what? I gave her a roof over her head and food to eat), and just so much more. There would be moments in our friendship she would just stop talking to me. Like Wtf? Whenever I needed someone to talk to she was never there. Always pushed me to the side. Don't get me wrong we have had some really awesome memories together. But I'm finally done with there. My uncle passed away last March and I needed someone to talk too, she ignored my text messages. Okay, whatever maybe she is busy. Then my baby shower rolled around, sent her a text message reminding her, no reply and didn't show up. Seriously WTF? Ended up finding out from someone she ended the friendship, yeahhhh thanks for informing me! v.v What did I do? Nothing except be a good friend. All in all I think she was jealous of me. I found my soul mate and we were starting a family together, something she didn't have. Who knows.
What is your dream job?
- Probably own my own business. Not sure really what though, something to do with Art or a Bar.
Are you happy where you are in life now?
- YES I AM First time in my life I have actually been truly happy with it! I have an amazing husband who treats me perfect, respects me and loves me! We have a beautiful daughter together. Simple as it maybe, it's the life I have always dreamed of.
What would make you happy?
- Already happy :]
How do you feel?
- Again, I feel Happy! Before my husband came along my life was a wreck. I was always depressed. He changed that. I am happy to say in the time we have been together I have no once felt any of that depression, sadness or regret I use to feel.
