I fail to see how this is a general knowledge quiz; which I've always thought of more as things that are useful to know - or at least which you could reasonably expect most people to know; this appears to be more a trivia selection. But what the hey:
1- Sting of which insect is the most painful?
This seems like to vary depending on things like how allergic you are to certain insects.
2- A chronometer is/was used to measure _______.
Time
3- Which runs faster: the fastest airplane or the fastest car?
Planes travel much faster than cars - assuming that's the definition of run you're using and we're comparing like for like.
4- An electric train is travelling north-east with a speed of 240 mph. In which direction will its smoke travel? Up - South - Northwest - Southeast - none of these.
None
5- Chess was invented by ______.
I don't believe the person who invented chess is known.
6- Which type of [human] fighter delivers the most powerful/forceful strike? Write the name of fighting style.
No clear data in this regard. It's unlikely the variance in terms of force is significant however or everyone would know about it.
7- Does an infant human have more bones, less bones or equal bones than an adult?
-shrug- More I'd imagine since I seem to recall something a few years back about some of them merging as you got older.
8- In myths of different cultures, which animals can take a human shape? Write names of at least two.
Two what; cultures, myths or animals?
9- Astronauts wear space suits to save them from the extreme pressure in the space. True or false?
False.
10- Two cars are standing facing opposite directions. The distance between them is 0 meters. They both start and run for 4 km. Then they both turn to their right, run for another 3 km and stop there. What is the distance between the cars when they stop?
The longest side of the triangle defined in the usual way and with the other two sides as 8 and 6km. Can't be bothered to work it out at the moment.
1- Sting of which insect is the most painful? Hmmm probably the killer ant. I imagine death would be unpleasant.
2- A chronometer is/was used to measure _______. Is it used or was it used? Make up your fucking mind!!!!!
3- Which runs faster: the fastest airplane or the fastest car? Nothing can outrun my 2001 Pontiac Sunfire.
4- An electric train is travelling north-east with a speed of 240 mph. In which direction will its smoke travel? Up - South - Northwest - Southeast - none of these. Given wind speeds, wind direction, high/low pressure zones.... none of those.
5- Chess was invented by ______. Dr. Chess
6- Which type of [human] fighter delivers the most powerful/forceful strike? Write the name of fighting style. Schwarzenegger fighting style: cyborg
7- Does an infant human have more bones, less bones or equal bones than an adult? I tell you what man I got a bone right now that I know that an infant doesn't have lmao..
8- In myths of different cultures, which animals can take a human shape? Write names of at least two. Two what? Humans? Easy: George and Laura W. Bush.
9- Astronauts wear space suits to save them from the extreme pressure in the space. True or false? No dingus, its from the lack of pressure........ fucking stupid. Also because there is no air
10- Two cars are standing facing opposite directions. The distance between them is 0 meters. They both start and run for 4 km. Then they both turn to their right, run for another 3 km and stop there. What is the distance between the cars when they stop? The same. If they're "standing", their wheels aren't touching the ground and they're not moving. You're not as clever as you think you are.
Amirite? One professor made every answer "b". So many people psyched themselves out and ended up marking other choice for no reason but "there can't be 5 b's in a row!"
