Like unlimited funds, what would you do? Where would you go?
I would start a company dedicated to researching new technology and therefore get richer. I would also learn how to fly and take a helicopter or jet wherever I go, and occasionally live on the sea in a yacht.
I'd also have invented a dream or imagination machine that let you live out your wildest fantasies. I'd sleep late, eat well, and pretty much whatever else I wanted xD
How about you?
You think the only people who are people, are the people who look and think like you.
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger,
You'll learn things you never knew, you never knew.
I was talking about this last night with some friends....weird.
I would buy a fuck off huge castle for starters and pimp it out to the extreme. I'm talking own club inside it etc. If they say "we can't do that" well I have unlimited money. I'm sure someone can design it and hire loads of people to build it.
Inside my castle I would have a room full of money simply so that on a stressful day I can go in there and just lay on my room and remember that HA I'M RICH. With that everything would soon be better. Everyone knows money is the best medicine.
I would build a huge housing complex for all my mates and their families etc. and because I have all that money none of them would work a day again in their life on the condition that they don't bugger off somewhere.
I would have a Butler called Jeeves who would be extremely posh and professional. I would plan conversations in advance with him for a laugh. For example. Whenever I would say/shout "Jeeves me and my fine fellows are going for a swim in the pool" he would have to respond with "Very good sir, will you be taking the quadbike amd the martini?" just so I could say "No thank you Jeeves, it's quite alright".
I would set that up on loads of circumstances just for my own amusement. Oh and I would always talk posh-like to Jeeves.
I would rent out an entire city "Fuck it I'm rich remember? 500k to everyone who gets out. 15 mil to those who are already rich" for the purpose of a city wide party. Invite soo many people and have it an open invite as well but if somebody isn't drinking they would be offered, if declined removed from the area, they took the money to bugger off dammit. No fights whatsoever...
Oh my own security force. Like bad ass mother truckers. I wouldn't be a complete twat with them but I would take advantage here and there. For example. I would select a few who I would call by the wrong name on purpose everytime just because I could.
I would like to say I would stop all wars, save the enviroment etc. I would help but all I have is the funds. It depends if somebody or an organisation could pull it off.
I could go on but to sum up-GIVE ME ALL THE MONIES.
I would want to build a house for me and my family of course. Also one for my sisters and mother.
Give money to my friends and family that need it.
I personally know a few people in the Dominican Republic who run a Orphanage, so I would give them money.
Also personally know some people who live in a fishing village in Mexico (La Pesca) Went down there a few years ago to help them build a few homes. I would give them some money also.
All great people that I trust and know who would use it for good.
It's really important for me to help the people I love.
After that I would help my city clean the park and restore some awesome buildings we have here (few old theatres and what not). I would probably buy the buildings, and open it to the public.
I just don't want to see my city's History sitting there rotting away or the parks not getting taken care of.
There is not a whole lot I want. Maybe visit a few places, Get more clothes and video games, oh and a awesome computer.
Other then that I just wanna help the people who I love.
I'm not really a people person, most people annoy me. But there are people who are kind and hard working who might need a little help. Brings me happiness helping people who actually need it and deserve it.

Who ever said that absolute power corrupts absolutely, eh? (referring to Gran and his idea to abuse entire towns).
I've often thought, realistically, what I'd do if I had a sudden influx of major cash. And to be honest, my thoughts lead to one inexorable conclusion - I'd do pretty much what I already do. Just, easier.
First thing would be to sort out my friends and family. Make sure they're set for life.
Then I'd get myself a decent house - and I don't mean some kind of colossal mansion, just something of a reasonable size, probably in pretty much the same area I live in now. I wouldn't want to live in the countryside, and I don't see the point in having a mansion for one person to live in. What a waste. Just enough space for me, my hobbies, perhaps a gym, and a pool would be nice - but to be honest, I'd probably carry on going to my current gym. I've tried working out at home and it's difficult, and solitary.
You can be pretty sure that a couple of rooms in that house would be dedicated to entertainment. Some proper space to display all my retro games and machines, along with a couple of CRT screens for the older systems. Another room for more modern technology - a large TV with a proper sound system. A beer-filled fridge and proper furniture for the occasion would be important.
Maybe a study in a small room, and a couple of guest rooms. Beyond the regular kitchen, dining room and bathroom requirements that'd pretty much be it.
I'd get a couple of cars. One indulgent, something like a DB9, and another small car like I have already. You don't want an enormous, expensive, polluting car for driving to the shops; you'd be scared shitless every time you left it on a car park.
Perhaps the most indulgent and extravagant thing I'd do would be to buy myself a yacht, to sail around the Med.
I'd probably visit a few places around the world that I've always wanted to visit. I'd also seriously consider buying a ticket for that commercial spacecraft.
Some people say that money doesn't make you happy. I disagree - money relieves you of worries. Right now, I'm unemployed, and I'm worried about being hounded by credit card companies I can't afford to pay, and other things like that. If I suddenly became rich, I'd still be the same person I am now, with the same friends, family and interests. But I'd be relieved of those worries, and instead I'd have sufficient funds to pursue those interests, and perhaps discover new ones.
I don't think that having a palace and a million super cars would have any long-term impact on your happiness though. I suppose I could buy a castle for the purposes of renovating it - many castles in Britain are in a ramshackle condition, and I have an interest in them.

Well, first, I would fund the cure for sea sickness, then I would buy a yacht and travel the world endlessly.
But, otherwise, I would use it to help others. Don't get me wrong, I would never go without, I'm not trying to be noble here, but, I would like to bankroll things that better people's lives. Cures for cancer and that sort of thing, sure, but there are already plenty of people spending a lot of money on that, I'm talking closer to home.
Private building projects, like the robber barons of old, funding beautification campaigns, improvement and modernization projects, historical preservation, new construction, public works and so on.
I've been thinking about this a lot as of late. I know it will probably never happen, but it's nice to dream every now and then.
A restaurant, first of all. It's always been one of my dreams to own my own restaurant, having worked in them since I was old enough to work, even up until recently, I'm still involved in the business to a degree.
Esports has also been interesting to me. It's sort of an exotic market at this point, but it seems like it's a lot of fun, but requires you to have the means to really go for it.
Invest for later (not sure how I'd do it with that sum at this point though), but I'd love to buy a very nice dwelling, as well as the services to upkeep it. And then I'd buy books and teach myself how to do more things than I could imagine and all the while work a part time job doing something I enjoy!
What would I NOT do? Of course, there is always the dream stuff, such as restoring a 1950 Hudson Commodore back to factory condition, or buying a Beriev 200, and renovating the interior into a flying house. Or better yet, I can make the very rear of that plane into a garage, so I can take that car with me wherever I go. I know it is possible to accomplish with such a seaplane, since I have seen ferries use ramps to get the cars to and from them and the dock. Then I can use my flying dreamhome to take a tour of the world. By that, I do not mean simply visiting for a day or two. I mean actually living at each stop for a month or so, so I can get to know the local culture, the people, and the food. To make the trip better, I can dock the dreamhome right beside all the fancy yachts, and soak in the envy.
But then there are the serious things that actually matter to you. Such as the two girls who were adopted from an orphanage in Ukraine. Sure, they have grown quite well, but to you, they will always be those adorable children you first met all those years ago (They were 4 and 5 years at the time.). You sit and listen to their stories about the kind Europeans and Amerikans that came and spent time with them, built or fixed something for them, and gave them toys and clothing. Then you actually take a trip to Ukraine and Russian, and see for yourself that the living conditions of their orphanages are not by any means what these dear children deserve. And then the fact that each child may only have one toy of their very own. Plus the fact that the government keeps the orphanages so badly funded, that they are only given the equivalent of 2-3 Euros per child for a full day’s worth of food.
So, proper housing, proper clothing, a clean to place to wash their clothing, hot meals made of good-quality food, clean places for them to bathe, with good soap and hot water to do so, and give each child a bed of their own, a bed that is clean, soft, and warm. And of course giving a toy or two to each child, even if it is just a teddy bear. I know it would be quite a stretch to find a loving family for each and every child, even though each child deserves a loving family, but at least we can hope to someday improve their current living conditions to the same high standard as we here in Central and Western Europe often take for granted.
