I was wondering why the email seemed so bad but then the guy said he was from West Virginia which answered a lot of questions. I must wonder if the guy was a dedicated troll or dead serious, but David Thorne responded quite well to the guy's one or two lines of angry ranting.

It was best towards the end. The Oscar Wilde reference and how well it worked, and the 'I won't read it' bit. Pure genius, and the dude had such a great canvass to paint his humour onto - a total, unmitigated dumbass.
