You prefer direct involvement in the learning environment and enjoy activities like role playing and sports. You remember things best once you've experienced them. You don't understand things so well if you only read about them. Reading usually bores you. You may talk with your hands. You might have been called a poor listener or a fidgety student. You probably like to wear sporty or comfortable clothing. You like games and you learn things by practicing. When you study you should take short breaks. You can be impulsive and you probably sit in the back of the class. You like to study in groups because of the interaction. You may be involved in drama. You can benefit by using role playing methods when you study. You could also benefit from making your own flashcards.
Meh, I guess that's pretty true about the fidgety bit
You think the only people who are people, are the people who look and think like you.
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger,
You'll learn things you never knew, you never knew.

A lot of that describes me. So sounds about right.

You probably use visual references a lot and say things like "I see now" or "I get the picture." You like to see demonstrations, diagrams, slides, charts, and other visual aids in the classroom. You take great notes and you probably use color coded highlighting. You could benefit by drawing outlines of your notes and creating pictures of processes or events that you study. Always write down explanations and instructions. Use flash cards when available.
You can benefit by using a combination of sight and experience when you study. You can pick up information by listening but you are too active to listen for long without speaking out. You like to see class demonstrations and you like to take part in study groups, labs, and learning games. You may talk with your hands and you may love to read. You would do well in a drama class. You may sit in the back of the class but you would probably be better off in the front. You can get distracted easily. You would benefit from making flash cards or using pre-made cards to study. You like study groups but you can also study well on your own.
Sounds about right, but I am unsure if these answers are just overly generalized that could fit anyone.
You enjoy music and dancing. You would be great on a debate team or in drama classes. You probably have a large music collection and you enjoy handheld games and gadgets. You could benefit in your studies by using a combination of sound and activity. For instance, you can benefit from listening to lectures but you would benefit even more by participating in an active discussion of the material. You may have trouble comprehending written material until you are able to discuss it, draw it, outline it, or perform it in some way. You probably enjoy classes that are active and allow you to speak out, like speech classes and foreign language classes. You're probably involved in sports.
I think they have it wrong. I can see why they put me as an auditory learner however I am not a creative person, I am much more academic. I do not require that much listening and talking about subjects. Just the lack of questions have to generalise.
The only thing just about right is about discussions. I like to have a little debate. Thats it really.

A lot of those questions just don't apply to me. For instance
Quote:
I remember things best if I:
Write things down and read them back
Make lists and write them over and over
Record the information and listen
None of these have ever worked particularly well for me. It's like asking what you like me: Being kicked in the left nut or the right nut.

Question: 4. I like to learn using:
Labs and demonstrations
Rhymes and chants that I make up
Photographs and diagrams
It depends on what the thing I'm learning is. Different communication modalities are better or worse suited to different types of information. When I was in school, and later at university, I considered labs a total waste of time. But equally I never really bothered with rhymes and chants, and I only made diagrams when I was summarising for others.

Question: 5. Sometimes when nobody is around I will:
Draw a picture showing a process I need to understand
Create songs with my homework information
Act out information
I don't do any of those things.

Question: 7. I have trouble remembering information if I:
Read it and don't talk about it in class
Can't take notes
Can't discuss it in class
No, no, no. I have trouble remembering information if it's not contextually meaningful. Specific dates, specific numbers, specific names. Everything else I remember just fine. How things work, the rough sequence of events... that stuff you just read or hear the once and it's with you forever.

Question: 9. When I study for a test I like to
Read out loud
Make an outline
Trace pictures , diagrams , and charts with my finger
Don't do any of these.
Anyhoo
You are a very visual learner.
You probably use visual references a lot and say things like "I see now" or "I get the picture." You like to see demonstrations, diagrams, slides, charts, and other visual aids in the classroom. I don't consider that to be at all accurate.

I did this not too long ago, and found out that I learn better by doing. Being "taught" things in a classroom never had the same appeal to me as an interactive course in college.
I learned far more in the 4 years I was in college than I did throughout my 17 years of public school.

You'll learn things you never knew, you never knew.
