Re: Did you ever go through a tough time in your life?
I've been through a lot. Some I can't share due to legal reasons, but I think I'm starting to turn around now. Things seem to be getting better.
Anxiety sucks, it's a defense mechanism in our brain which is used to make sure we don't get hurt. It's something that has evolved way too damn much, 2000 years ago it would have been there to prevent you from attacking a wild animal or something, now it can be so powerful it can prevent you from leaving your house.
I have pills which I'm supposed to take if my anxiety reaches a certain level, thankfully it hasn't, because they're addictive supposedly.

That's not really my problem. The people around me are actually not so bad.

Other than that, nope. I've been through hard times, but adaptability is my strongest attribute, so I get over it quickly.
Loled at the second sentence lol.

I have had anxiety for some time now. It's not really the worrying that gets to me, it's that I am soooooooooo tired all the time. I spend all night worrying (sub consciously) and I think my brain isn't getting any good rest. I can't concentrate and always feel like there is cotton in my brain, it's hard to explain.
I am taking Deanxit at the moment, going to see how well I go after 14 pills. I am feeling better but it seems like I have to take a lot more to feel normal.
Re: Did you ever go through a tough time in your life?
I got a major depression at the age of 5 and has continued steady all these years... I've just learned to live with it. Apart from that, there's the panic/anxiety attack now and some faint voices that contribute to low self esteem... So yeah, I haven't had it really bad, but those few details have made me a little tired sometimes.

I used to feel anxious and depressed an awful lot to the point where I'd be physically sick pretty much every morning, as If waking up and having reality flood back was devastating.
But right now I have a good job, my own place, new friends and god forbid, something of a life so, eventually things get better and you feel better and more importantly, you become a stronger character for having gone through the dark times and you feel good for having gotten through them.

Yes, this is what I tell myself everyday. I will look back and say it was just a bad dream. It is funny how when you are a kid life is so pretty, then you grow up and realize how shit it is. Guess that's just the way it is.

Mom didn't discover it before pretty late (about when I was 11) and got a real diagnose by then... So yeah, I was given pills for a time but neither my mom nor I did like them... Haven't taken any pills since that age and I've been doing pretty bad untill just recently... Just learned to live with it, as stated
For I while I had started smoking, since it helped with my anxiety and panick attacks, but now I almost don't get them... I've quite smoking though, which is good ^^
Re: Did you ever go through a tough time in your life?
Everyone goes through tough times. Being an unemployed college graduate is rather depressing. Especially when you have to admit that the amount of work your minimum wage job requires just to live on doesn't give you a lot of time to find something more fulfilling and you have to move back in with your parents.
