I'm going to see a psychologist tomorrow. We were lucky to find someone really close by who will work with our insurance plan so it doesn't fuck anything up. And I must say, I'm pretty excited about it :)

You might want to take a pencil and paper along to write down the names of any tests he gives you, any names he mentions, any specific suggestions he makes, anything like that which you can look up later. Assuming of course you don't have the sort of memory to hold onto those sorts of details.

I've got a pretty good memory :p

But to be safe, I'll might still do that. And it's actually a she; for some reason the receptionist thought that wouldn't be ok with me.

Good luck mate. Sometimes a psychologist can quite help you in paperwork and stuff, I've discovered. Best wishes aswell!

Congratulations on finding a psychologist! It can be difficult to find one with open slots these days, and then you even managed to find one that sounds agreeable and is close by? That's fortune right there. Good luck on your treatment! :)

I hope she'll be able to help you. But I guess you are not the first to encounter such problems, so the docs probably already have quite a bit of experience.
