Re: Eyes Quote:
There's no free lunch regarding eye color and health really. Those with bright eyes are more susceptible to macular degeneration, just like those with dark eyes are more susceptible to glaucoma. Now one can argue that it has to do with genes not eye color, but it just so happens that most with macular degeneration have brighter eyes, and most with glaucoma have darker eyes, so genealogy or not, by extension eye color is still relevant. What I mean is not every health factor is necessarily going to carry over to a person whom had the brown surface pigment erased. While they might be more susceptible to bright light, I would think the glaucoma issue would be more of a concern, esp if there's any of it in the family history. |
Re: Eyes I'd love to have blue eyes, I just don't have the $5,000 lying around to show for it. |

Then again, it's still relative to how much one has, and $1500-$2000 can buy a killer PC anymore, or a used car. |
Re: Eyes my wife has blue. im biracial and have brown. my baby has blue eyes. go fig. |
Re: Eyes My father has blue eyes, and my mother has brown. Yet, I have two different colored eyes; one is hazel/grey, and the other is a deep green... heterochromia I believe it's called. It's really weird, actually - over time, the colors of my eyes started to strongly differ from one another. Years passed, and now I have two different colors. |
