You obviously have not worked in the retail industry.

Actually, I have. I just didn't deal with the people.

I have worked in retail for a very long time. So I know exactly what you mean. It was worse when I was working in the Electronics department. You think "Wow... Are people really this stupid???" They ask you something and sometimes I didn't know if they were kidding or not, just because it was common sense, and no it wasn't just the older folks, nooooo mostly the younger generation. Also, they will ask you something, you tell them exactly what they need to do or what to get, and they look at you like your stupid and say "Nooo that doesn't sound right, I need to do this and this and this" GOD! NO YOU DON'T!!!! For heavens sake you just need to plug in your TV! It's not freaking rocket science! GAHH! Retail is stressful sometimes v.v

I'm at a loss for words. But yeah, I work in a call centre, which I imagine is as scary as working in retail, as the number of really truly thick people out there is frightening.

re: Math is certainly not her strength

I work in retail, and can confirm that there are people this stupid, and worse, walking amongst us in society. They are generally disguised as normal human beings, and it can be difficult to tell who they are until you are put in a situation that compelled you to engage them in conversation, but they are around, and they are legion.

Sex, cleaning and cooking have nothing to do with basic math. Well maybe cooking. I could live with just sex and cleaning thanks to microwave technology and fast food.

Ten reasons why a gun is better than a woman.

#10 - You can trade an old .44 for two new .22s.

#9 - You can keep one handgun at home and have another for when you're on the road.

#8 - If you admire a friend's handgun, and tell him so, he will probably let you try it out a few times.

#7 - Your primary handgun doesn't mind if you have a backup.

#6 - Your handgun will stay with you even if you're out of ammo.

#5 - A handgun doesn't take up a lot of closet space.

#4 - Handguns function normally every day of the month.

#3 - A handgun doesn't ask "Do these new grips make me look fat?"

#2 - A handgun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it.

AND THE NUMBER ONE WAY THAT A HANDGUN IS BETTER THAN A WOMAN . . .
You can buy a silencer for a handgun.

Sort of. I don't really think this thread is ... "aimed", at making it seem like women are any less smart than men. This one woman in particular just happens to be fucking stupid.

EDIT: Ah, ye beat me to it.

Then what do you call that thing between your legs? Stick that in her mouth and she'll definitely shut up... 'cept for the occasional gagging sounds and cries for help.

This is my rifle, this is my gun! This is for fighting, this is for fun!

also, if
gun = manjunk
and
handgun = woman
then
woman = hand on my manjunk

I like your thinking!

I admittedly didn't watch all of it... but he came across as a real dick...

I mean sure, she's not good at math... she could be borderline horrible at math, but he was condescending not only towards her, but also the guy for being in a relationship with her...

It just kind of bothered me.

It would have been awesome if they said "Okay fuck this" and walked out on him.

Then I'd actually laugh while watching his show for once!

Why the hell would you marry someone so absolutely stupid? It's not even a question of math, it's a question of understanding basic phrases.

Nemmerle April 4th, 2012 10:20 AM

Re: Math is certainly not her strength

Perhaps she's a fantastic lay or something. Maybe he just wants someone to do the cooking and cleaning and getting married was cheaper than hiring a maid. Who knows?

lol@slamming on tosh.0 - I'm amazed how many people don't understand that his whole "attitude" is simply a stage persona.

Get a sense of humor people. Even the couple knew it was all in fun.
