Christ that is low!

But I must say, in Ireland with our 18 to drink, 21 to get into most clubs, its pretty obvious those laws practically don't exist in some places. 16 year olds raving and puking, lovely place.

Earliest age into pubs should be 16. The legal age for y'know. Otherwise there's a risk of becoming a dirty old man when you're drunk.

It would be better to legalize marijuana to adults vs having drunk 14 year olds causing mischive and getting into trouble.

14? That's ridiculous! XD Who decided on that shit? And why? What were the ideas backing it?

The lowest drinking age I can imagine that would not cause problems would prolly be 16 or 18. I'd say in the US and Canada, where one has to drive a lot, 18 would be best. In Europe (and a few limited parts of the USA), public transportation actually exists. In these places, having a lower age makes sense. Lower doesn't = 14 though. 16 should be the limit. Holy damn. Why don't they just legalize the green leaf instead?!

You say that, but there are plenty of people over the legal drinking age who drink and act irresponsible because of alcohol. I only need go out on a Friday or Saturday night to my local town to witness adults drunk and disorderly.

PS: I know the article isn't real, just thought I'd get involved in the conversation. :)

Yeah really. The only thing I have against drinking that young is the effect it'll have on the brain. It's legal to drink in your house in almost all countries I think. I know you can drink in your own house at 4 if your parents allow it, not sure why they would though. Tsk tsk to parents who do that.
