I would agree that Twitter and Facebook are similar to this very forum, in the sense that you type and post messages for other people to see.

Other than that, there is little connection. Both Twitter and Facebook (along with other social networking sites) are generally about the person who holds the account; letting the world know about their lovely little lives.

The forums aren't. They're more about discussion and the sharing of information. Sure, there are similarities, but there is quite a substantial difference between the two.

You guys have clearly never used twitter with people you actually know. In which case yes, it does make you sad.

No I haven't and thats probably why it sucks to me, I couldn't care less about celebrities really.

Twitter still sin't big here in the UK and especially not Norfolk. I suspect a year after it hits nationwide people will know what it is :lulz:
