Actually, I was just thinking that, Gran. Who would have thought I would ever wish it was 1999 again?

The human mind is a complex - and annoyingly so - thing. I hate my mind.

Re: Anger Thread

I was going through some of the rage that Stratopwn3r spoke about last night. I was so pissed, I didn't sleep till around 6:30. Unhealthy amounts of rage, after looking at one of my friends' photos on Facebook. Thankfully I had a friend (a true friend mind you) to vent to at the time. Helped a lot.

I think I've got a rage hangover, because I've had a persistent migraine all day.

If you're getting pissed off about shit you've seen on Facebook, you probably need to take a step back and reorganize yourself.

Have to yell at the young'ns tonight, I'd rather be out of town playing D&D! Here's the note I would leave if I could go:

Dear New Girls,

I was going to yell at you all tonight about how I'm not your mother and it's your responsibility to clean up after yourselves and carry your own weight. However, you've proved to me in the past few weeks that you are stupid, and after all of the yelling already you haven't learned. So, I've chosen to go play board games with friends far from the epicenter of the stress you cause with your stupidity and lack of responsibility.

P.S. You're dumb.

Too bad I can't just do that, that would be wonderful!

Yeah, probably. I was in a mood that night anyways, something just tripped the trigger.

Heh, Facebook is a Virus. It's slowly distributing society. Too many people run their lives around Facebook. Their business is everyone's business. It's ridiculous. I have Facebook (I'll be the first to admit it) but my friends list is limited to people I actually know; people I consider friends, and people that I've had a significant number of conversations with. Think I've got three people from this place on my friends list too, but I've spoken to them so it'll count.

People I know via passing, or people who were in my class at school ~ they have no business knowing my business, and I don't really care about their lives either, so I've not got them as a friend. It's silly really, that everyone must commune through Facebook.

A (now former) friend of mine ran her life through Facebook. Whenever I was wanted, she'd leave a message on Facebook for me (even though it's much quicker to get ahold of me via my phone). Eventually (a couple of months back now) I stayed off Facebook for a while; closed off my 'Wall' and everything ~ she texts me asking why she couldn't write on my wall, and I wrote back that if people care that much about being in contact, they can do so without the use of Facebook. That was the last I heard of her.

My Facebook is now back and running (though I still don't speak to her, a lost cause I think, but it makes the point). Heck, people can't be officially in a relationship anymore unless Facebook says so. It's pathetic.

End Rant?

I get that, I have facebook for 3 reasons.
1: To actually stay in touch with people who i don't see everyday
2: To stalk people I secretly admire
3: To show people I hate just how awesome my life is.

If you don't fall into any of those categories, you aren't getting the accept.

Why do I have a sudden urge to salute you? Any chance you're in charge of a boot camp? =p

lol, feels like it sometimes.

And yeah on the topic of facebook, while it's nice it shouldn't dictate your life and emotions.

As a short outburst, the guys repairing the houses heating system were working on my radiator today while I was in class and managed to pop my yoga ball that I use as a desk chair. While I'm certainly not happy and rather inconvenienced by this, at least they said they'd reimburse me for it. Still a little miffed, just hasn't been a fantastic couple of weeks :(

Agreed, I hardly ever use it.

Re: Anger Thread

I use it. Mostly to talk to a few friends, or plans with the various clubs I'm in. Although I do like reading all the emo posts and all the drama.

Its funny because one of my friends was posting about how she hated another girl for starting drama. Then one of my other friends said she was only making things worse by posting it on facebook. She tells him to fuck off her page and not get into her business.

I lol'd at the stupidity.
