Oh my god

Holy shit.

Quote:

f Glenn Beck's daily shows are not enough education for you, the controversial talk show host has launched his own online "university" - an academic program that will school you on the "concepts of Faith, Hope, and Charity," Beck said on his Web site.
Classes start this Wednesday and will continue every week until September 1. The first lecture, dubbed "Faith 101," will be taught by David Barton, founder of WallBuilders, an organization that claims that our country's constitutional foundation "has been seriously attacked and undermined" in recent years.
Subsequent classes in "Hope 101" and "Charity 101" will be manned by David L. Buckner and James R. Stoner, Jr.

In a video (above) announcing the university, Beck championed the "self-educated" and said many of those with advanced degrees in history "know what history professors want to be taught, but that is so unbelievably incomplete." He then points to various texts that he believes provide a more complete look into U.S. history; no word on what Beck University's course materials will entail.
Beck University will be available to "Insider Extreme" members, who pay $6.26 per month for access to Beck's radio show, ticket pre-sales, and the like.
I'm hoping classes will go a little something like this:
Just... Wow. Holy shit. I'm speechless.

I doubt anything will come from this... people who follow him already are crazy, and the same crowd will just follow him into these "classes"

Re: Oh my god

Hope 101? Charity 101? He's starting a freakin church, not a educational facility.

So he's teaching you to be nice to other people and preserve our rights, who gives a big whoop, if you don't like God then don't join it. I don't like Glenn Beck but its not like anyone crazy enough to take online classes from a talk show host has anything to lose.

Couldn't he get Obama to lecture on Hope 101?
