I have the Stomach Flu and was wondering what can I eat that won't irritate my bowels, also I was wondering can I take stuff that can lessen my diarrhea, you know like Pepto Bismol? Or should I just solider it up?
Drink water mostly, gatorade, maybe some ginger ale. For food, probably pudding/jello, the things I'm gonna have to eat next Friday when I get my wisdom teeth ripped out
Starchy food is good, i.e. bread, potatoes, rice. Vitamin C in the form of orange juice is good too. Avoid dairy like milk, cheese, etc. and high-protein stuff like meat.
And if you go for ginger ale, for the love of god, make sure it's flat first.

God i hated when i had that done. I got all of mine out at the same time, i couldn't eat anything solid for days, and it didn't completely stop bleeding for like a hour after it was done. The stuff they use to numb your face is sort of cool though, it leaves your face and mouth numb for a few hours after. But yeah, your pretty much limited to stuff like pudding, yogurt, applesauce, soups, things like that.
