from my point of view, theres a number of reasons...

the voting system on the networks doesnt work..
the upload system is on and off on a regular basis both on the main site and on networks
mirrors supporting the downloads are also on and off..
the whole 'filefront is going to close' lark in April
and i'm sure there's other stuff i can't remember...

maybe the release of the PS3, DS's, PSP's, and Xbox 360 has drawn people away from their computer games... only the regulars/loyals remain in the forum and the odd network regular on each network...

The star trek networks are amongst the most popular networks, but are ignored by higher tier staff, so people tell me, and also from what I see...

there is no more filefront insider, and plenty of changes in network staff indicates the infrastructure of the site is falling?

thats as far as I can see anyway... maybe someone will explain it, but thats my unbiased view... I still think that if the site ran properly, it'd be bloody amazing..
