Ban the spammers, I agree with. However, because someone hurt someone's feelings....dude its the internet. The worst anyone can do to anyone else is call them names. (on a forum, anyways...outside of a forum you can steal bank account numbers and whatnot).

I've been thinking about this since the creation of this thread and I can't think of anything. I guess I'm pretty much desensitized by the psychological torture I've been exposed to most of my life so far, so I'm used to pretty much everything I encounter on the Internet. Even personal attacks aimed at me don't bother me very much.

I think my biggest fuck up on here was WAY back in the day, like my first week on here. Had something to do with gay marriage or something, I said something thinking I was right, oh boy, lets just say, the red blocks were flying on my reputation box in my CP. I think it was because I got all worked up about the topic and starting saying really retarded crap. Yeah...that was back when I thought I was the hot shit on the internet.

Overreacting over an issue on the Internet- for example, the Modern Warfare 2 controversy, Left 4 Dead 2 controversy, Battlefield: Bad Company boycott (though that one actually did make things better- the game's getting a sequel, innit?). Or when I got bored sometimes and intentionally flamed and it blew up in my face, I used to blow it out of proportion.

Obvious lies about one's own sex life (Facebook and Parlancia are full of 'em)

Those cold, heartless bastards from the dark corners of the Internet- the kind of people that say stuff like "DJ AM was a drug addict and deserved to die" or "Obama is a n" (in the racist way) because of the anonymity granted by the Internet

Yaaa...I tried calling out AzH back when the melee was still around, that didn't end all to well.

EDIT: Forgot to add mine, I still don't care for AzH...maybe now im a little older I may know what he was talking about, but I dont and never will.

This. It's gotten to the point where I just don't get hot and bothered by anything anymore. I use to be annoyed mostly by people who verbally attacked or abused groups of people (religions, genders, ethnicities, and what have you) and people who actually applied stereotypes to these groups. Now that doesn't really bother me anymore, not enough to get worked up over it. Though I'll still point out why they are wrong.

I suppose that's the closest I'll come to a pet peeve.

If I could find the link to the posts I got neg repped for, you'd realize how stupid I was back then. It was in the debate forum, so it was bound to get out of hand, especially on a topic of gay marriage (I think that's what the topic was). I think I brought out my limited knowledge of the christian religion and how it was immoral and wrong for it to happen, how they're going to hell and what not. Since then, I've been come the complete opposite of that. My religious side has literally, left me.

And another thing that annoys me. People on a forum who reply/quote posts and only say something along the lines of QFT or x2, etc.

Yea people cant differentiate the difference between a well formed opinion and "wrong". Being a democrat, for most people, is a thought process. It isnt "wrong". Same with republican. (two easy examples). Yet if you speak from your perspective, people freak out.

Now, if I say the sun revolves around the earth, THAT is wrong.
