We got educated about it simulary to how we were educated about drugs, telling the positive and negative side effects of smoking, cannabis,magic mushrooms, cocaine, beer, spirts like vodka and so on. Basically it's meant to explain to you how risky certain things are and most people figure it ain't worth it compared to any positive sides to a thing (it should take no brain to figure out meth is not worth it, cannabis iprobably is if you desire the positive effects it has).

But I'm getting OT a bit, basically we got told about various mehtods that are intended to prevent pregnancy, ranging from condoms to Castration/Oophorectomy and from Coitus Interruptus to the female condom, or the pill and spiral or timing sex to the calander (as females go to a exycle of increasing/decreasing chanches of getting pregnant durung their periodical menstruation cycles). It explained the process (what "is" it?) and how greatly does it reduce the risk of pregnancy during sex?. Which again, takes a no brainer to figure out you should be pretty save when using a condom and a pill at the same time, and either of them alone should do a sufficient job aswell.

Oh I've had sex education in school, and I know its unreliable, it was the answer a comedian I saw once advocated (among other things). One could always just advocate anal sex in order combat rising numbers of teen pregnancies.
