| More like the luckiest baby in the world.

| I'm pretty sure most wheelchairs come with some sort of break. Heck, even those airport luggage trolleys have a break built in but prams don't? Hm, maybe I should get into the stroller business. The poor child will probably have an irrational fear of trainstations for the rest of his life.

| Since it was a six month old baby, I don't think it'll remember falling underneath a train.

Of course the child's mother may make good use of the stroller's breaks now. |

| The mom will definitely be a hell of a lot more clingy to her child now though. I was surprised with it though, she was very lucky the impact didn't give her baby serious harm, much less kill it.

| That baby got pretty "lucky" surviving an accident like that. Did the mom fail at parenting? In hindsight it's easy to see what she did wrong, she could have applied the brakes, positioned the stroller parallel to the track, or stood between the platform edge and the stroller. It's kinda hard to judge how noticable the incline of the platform is, it could be a very gentle, almost unnoticable slope. She could have done a much worse job, that's for sure, like placing the stroller right next to the tracks. But I bet she'll be much more careful, perhaps overly careful in the future... The train driver seemed to respond properly though, after stopping he didn't open the doors. |
