| It doesn't bother me too much if other people listen to loud music in their cars, but I don't like loud music when I'm driving. You miss out on a lot of useful information if you can only see but not hear.

As for getting the ticket, many places have noise restrictions as previously mentioned, its a matter of common courtesy and can be considered disturbing the peace. It's like how police can issue tickets for drivers who have those really loud mufflers, a co-worker got a ticket for his muffler, could hear the damn thing a mile and a half away. Legitimate ticket.

Wait...what music were you playing...if it was miley cyrus you deserve the ticket. Last edited by NiteStryker; October 7th, 2009 at 09:43 PM.. |

| I don't know if it would be worthy of a fine/ticket but music can be an issue but it probably makes sense: - Load music can be a nuisance to others. - It can be distracting (you and others) - It may make it more difficult or impossible to hear various signals which are meant to warn/alert you: car horns, bells of a railroad crossing, emergency vehicles approaching from any site such as from behind you or from the left or right on an intersection and so on. So I could see why loud music could be a safety issue and thus be something you cna get a fine for. |

| Have you guys not read my posts? I generally don't play music as loud as it can go when I'm driving. I only do that when I'm bored, or the song I'm listening to doesn't have a loud bass line. But other than that, I listen to music and reasonable levels all the time, minus the demos. And damn straight NS...no way in hell am I not going to NOT blast that. Haha. Epic song is epic!

| When your music is so loud it shakes my car as I sit next to you at a stop light, you're an asshole and it is too loud. Not saying you do that, but just saying it for reference.
