In a nut shell FUBAR. Many think the mom did it, but she's dead and the dad ain't talking and the DA at the time and the police handled the entire case like it was no big deal. When it reopened the new DA on FOX News said "they handle things much more laid back in Boulder and don't take things so seriously...".
I bet it's a trap. The microchips are real, but the person plans on implanting them in the lawyers. That way they can be tracked, and rounded up together at the same time to be disposed of. It's the perfect plan.
