So he just dolled out the 25 million dollar settlement to say "thank you for destroying my career" to that family?

Godspeed, Mr. Jackson.
I love how people get blinded by a few good things. The guy MOLESTED CHILDREN. He was a DRUG ADDICT. He made some stuff that sounds good, ok. He is 400 million dollars in debt, he had a pet chimpanzee, he dangled his kid off a balcony, he lived off medication, he was a pedophile....and the world cries when he dies?

Damn...I cant wait to hear the sobs of the world when David Westerfield dies.

How is his death really THAT suprising to anybody? And it is definatly not a "tragedy". A "tragedy" is Air France flight exploding over the ocean. A tragedy is a box of kittens falling off the back of a truck and getting run over by other cars. This, while maybe unexpected, is by no means a "tragedy".

Farrah Fawcett died and went to heaven. He granted her a final wish before entering the Pearly Gates. She said "I wish for all of the children in the world to be safe". So god then killed Micheal Jackson.

no, 9/11 was a tragedy. a box of kittens dying may be an accident and may be sad. but they are animals... not people.

And i certainly hope no one seriously uses that word to describe jackos death. He died under fairly normal circumstances. (relative to his life) Its not a tragedy if the same thing happens to the average joe 50 year old.

Well I'd call overdose at this point in time. Of course the coroner's office came back with a "well.....uh...." answer.

It is a weird circumstance to have a heart attack just like that. From what I've read police are doing an investigation on his Physician and are searching his car.

Well it wasnt a heart attack, his blood wasnt pumping around for some reason. Maybe too much of a sedative.

Ki Adi Mundi has reached out on one point, another is that these children (now at a resonable age) could have been in it with their parents all along. We simply don't know.

If you had the money, and couldn't be doing with the hassle, wouldn't you?

I'd have to agree here I think. If anything, it is unfortunate that he died at the age he did, but by no means is it a tragic thing.

He was best known for his music, but that time has past him. He hasn't released a song in years because that has come and gone, therefore, he had nothing more to give.

This would depend upon the relationship an individual would have toward kittens, or other animals in general. There was a thread on this not so long ago.
