Yeah, I know, people die everyday but it seems just recently you turn on the television and all you see on the channels are news reports of all these celebrities dying. TV stars and music stars are at the top of the hill I know it was just weird how there was so much famous deaths in one week. Still I don't watch a whole lot of TV to know. Its just when I do I hear all of this.

I don't care about Michael Jackson cause I never was a fan of his at all but the others were good. Only thing is Michael wasn't ready to go, he had to much junk in his life he never got straightened out.

I understand your hatred, and that is your sin to bear, however; Mike had issues and I don’t excuse any alleged transgression that may have occurred with young boys, he’ll have to square that up with his maker (assuming there is one), but casting him off as irrelevant, as if he never mattered to anyone is bull. His sin is inexcusable, if it indeed happened, but Mike did more for this pathetic planet and its inhabitants than most…and I’m not referring to his musical talent. What have you done to change the world for the better…anything? We are all f’ck ups. Mike was no different, but despite what you or I or anyone thinks about him or the freak show he called a life he significantly changed more lives for the better than he ruined.

I'd value Farrah Fawcett, Ed Mcmohan, and Billy Mays over 10 micheal jacksons.

Deployment to a combat zone, Trained with the Naval Amphibious Forces of 3 countries, handed out food in the Phillipines, sat off the coast of Burma for 2 months waiting to go in and deliver food and water and help them after the cyclone hit them.

You?

If Charles Manson had 13 #1 hit songs, he would be out of prision right now.

If he had some kind of magic influence in peoples lives, good for him. In my mind, he didnt matter. He started good, and then crashed hard.

And I dont know how his music "changes lives for the better". Its music. Its not the key to having a successful life. If anything, "beat it" just encourages masturbation.

I think you missed the point of what he was saying. In the 1980s MJ organized large charity drives, either individually or with other large artists, which featured benefit concerts. He devoted a lot of his personal time to this, and this is partially one of the reason why a lot of people were shocked at his first pedo allegations- people thought he was better than that. He was one of the few artists to commit such resources and personal time for such things, and this was well before Bono had made it the cool thing to do.

Nite, I’m not going to debate the reasons you and I differ on Jackson, our opinions are pretty sound as it were, I think we can agree on pedophilia as inexcusable, but that’s where we differ, so it would seem.

But lets take your point of military service. From the perspective of those who you have killed or will kill as a solider far outweigh any humanitarian services that impact people you have met, will meet or never will from the perspective of many. In their eyes, you are no different than Michael violating human decency. Now let me be clear, I for one am grateful and honored that you do the service demanded of you to uphold and protect this nation, her people and its interests, but what you and I deem acceptable occidental beliefs are considered sinful by those whom your lethal actions as a soldier directly impact (or will given the state of the world, should you remain in the military). It is all perspective. Many see Michael’s achievements far better than what you do, and you upon those whom you deem insignificant on the social totem pole. You of all people know people and here people condemn what our men/women in the Armed Forces does as pathetic and dare I say, as “people who don’t matter”. You and I know that not to be true, but the judgment exists. The point I’m attempting to make, is don’t be quick to merely wipe away anything Michael did for humanity (despite his transgression) as inconsequential. It is not right and it is not fair. If you believe in any sort of Christian mythos, then your haste judgments of this man are sinful in God’s eyes, and ye will be judged, that all – nuff said.

Micheal at one point was a good person Im sure, and what he did for people in his early days, kudos to him.

But his was a wasted talent in the last decade. And if people are going to remember him, they cannot simply highlight and press the delete key on the last 10 years. (Is all im sayin.)

That was to proven to be a scam for money. " Evan Chandler was tape-recorded saying amongst other things, "If I go through with this, I win big-time. There's no way I lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever...Michael's career will be over"."

"An official investigation began, with Jordan Chandler's mother adamant that there was no wrongdoing on Jackson's part. Neverland Ranch was searched; multiple children and family members denied that he was a pedophile."

"Jackson agreed to a 25-minute strip search, conducted at his ranch. The search was required to see if a description provided by Jordan Chandler was accurate. Doctors concluded that there were some strong similarities, but it was not a definitive match."

"Jackson made an emotional public statement on the events; he proclaimed his innocence, criticized what he perceived as biased media coverage and told of his strip search"

Hope that will put to rest alot of the "ehhh, Michaels a pedophile" BS.

Thank you bud398.. I have been trying to tell people that after Michaels death the accusing boy revealed the truth that he just wanted money.

About his skin.. he did not choose to become white, but instead he had several skin diseases that turned him whiter.

I still dont see why people cant mourn him.. I do not see how people can condescend and prejudice him for being bad.
After all, he gave music to millions and millions of people. You have no valid reason to laugh or make jokes about his death as I cant think of anything that he may have done which have hurt you.

So before you laugh at him or say anything bad about him.. what has he done to you that may have made you feel bad about anything?
