I think it's one of the poorly designed union jack cantons. The wavy stripes is a no-no, it doesn't look right if it's waving.

And the most they can come up with is making the stripes wavy? I've seen junior high students come up with better ones.

Plus, they're just knocking of Kiribati's flag (another former British subject).

Yeah, too much blue…but it does make one want to go to the beach anyway.

My state flag is pretty basic:

The yellow represents the sun - our state receives more sun than any other in the Union, including Hawaii.
