FileFront is no longer owned by the evil Ziff Davis (only evil people have the letter 'z' in their name, after all *glances up at the previous post*). It can only be a good thing that the originals are back where they belong.

No, FileFront is under new management of the orginal founders. They should be praised not cursed for saving the community as Ziff Davis dumped (or was forced to dump) her on the street like a cheap hooker. So many people, from the highest FileFront level to volunteers and long time site users did all they could to continue the community. That deserves praise. We should be happy that the site was allowed to continue, we should thank everybody that tried to save what filefront stood for an praise their efforts of salvaging files and such. Now give it time for the new FileFront management structure to establish, wait for n0e to give us a more detailed account, sit back and enjoy. Unfortunate timing or not, the outcome certainly is positive. Game on!

Let's just hope the upkeep costs don't turn out to be too much for the 'original founders' to handle. I mean they were original once, then they signed on with ZD (for certain reasons no doubt). Let's hope it all works out for them.
I don't hold a grudge for two reasons. 1: I could care less if one of my internet communities goes under, there are plenty out there, even though it does suck for those who lost their job. As a volunteer (former) I don't really lose anything. I actually gain a bit more free time.
2: As I posted before, I always understood that this was a business deal and FileFront is a legitimate business. This wasn't just turning a forum off or on to piss people off. This was contract agreements, jobs, paper work, meetings, money, etc. While a lot of people sat here and bitched and complained and said things like "I'm never go back after what they did to me!", the real people were working their ass off behind the scenes to secure their company again.
