Anyone else wish we could revive this guy?

Why did you post a pic of SeinfeldRules?

J/k.

That clip was great. I can respect him for actually stepping up and breaking through the "norm" of politics and putting some guy in their place.

Now let's mention all the negative things that happened during Reagan's reign of terror, and somehow try to make it looked like the greatest president of the 20th century was a failure and didn't help the country at all.

I'm pretty sure the fact that he won the cold war 'Without firing a single shot'(Thatcher) ensures his greatness.

We could use him now.

The Soviets defeated themselves and were already on the verge of defeat long before Reagan came to power, he just took credit for the final years. Reminds me of Pompey Magnus taking credit for the end of the Third Servile War when Crassus did the all the leg-work and Pompey showed up to fight the last battle and take all the credit and glory for himself (typical Pompey). Otherwise, Reagan wasn't a horrible president, he wasn't the best either (from a foreigner's perspective). I still cringe when I see the video of Reagan singing "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" with the similarly love/hated (mostly hated) Canadian Prime Minister, Brian Mulroney.

Jimmy Carter was no great president either. (Probably the worst embarrassment and screw up to the nation ever)

Worse than the retard whos sitting in the white house right now? I'm not sure about that. Carter didnt lead this country into a war it cant afford and ignore a natural disaster in his own country which lead to the deaths of thousands and homelessness of millions of his own people.

How terrible. You know, Mississippi was the one that got the full force of Katrina and they didn't sit on their asses waiting for somebody else to do something and cry about it. They got up and started rebuilding.

You can't possibly ignore a hurricane, forget the millions of dollars sent beforehand for aid, Georg Busg dus not care about black people. :Puzzled:

Now I agree Bush is pretty retarded, I disagree on some of his actions but I'd say Carter is about the same. (Although I'd say his making fuel all fair for everyone resulting in gas lines [of which we have yet to see] and making a joke of foreign policy at the time is pretty bad)

Nice move but that wouldn't mean I would like to see him resurrected to run the USA once more (or somebody with the same views and attitude and all).

You could have a generally calm natured president of any view who now and then under circumstances dares to give out a punch so to speak. Will we ever see that? I don't know... =p

Re: Classic Reagan.

It took us a Jimmy Carter to get us a Reagan, maybe we'll have to painfully wait through Obama to get that.

I don't want to though

Yeah, this particular clip isn't why I'd like him ressurected but it does help. :p

No. I'll never forgive him for introducing neo-conservatism and cronyism into the mainstream. Never ever. Saying you stand for reducing the government in everybody's lives while raging a "war on drugs" is blatant hypocrisy.

Iran-Contra? Reagonomics? :barf:

I'd put concrete over his grave just to be sure Zombie Ronnie didn't come back to haunt us.
