I've never understood this arrogance that people have. You don't like them because they don't fit within your definition of intelligent? What about average people? What the hell is wrong with them? Stupid people are a source of amusement, I don't have any contempt for the demographic as a whole.

Now, the guy himself. What kind of pleasure do you get from a park bench? Does it have any way of actually . . massaging it?

You misunderstand me. What I was trying to say was that people as a whole tend to do incredibly stupid things even when reason presents itself. Does it sound like a good idea to you to hump a park bench? Certainly doesn't to me, yet this guy did it and got stuck. Man is supposed to be intelligent, but I begin to wonder when people do things like that...

I say the object is irrelevant, it's that he's an exhibitionist and the bench was in a public location.

Either that, or he was crazy horny and he "just couldn't wait" which I can understand I guess but go into a restroom or something to tug, not in public.
