Re: Defrag Me Yeah. The bits and pieces CCleaner leaves behind, Advanced WindowsCare takes care of. |

Re: Defrag Me 1 Attachment(s) Ladies and Gentlemen. This is the same harddrive 1 hour later; http://forums.filefront.com/attachme...1&d=1218584813 See? Those fragmented files are simply my documents and the like. |

Re: Defrag Me I defragment with the format option every year or two. Which reminds me I need to go and buy another HD so I can backup my files again. |

Re: Defrag Me My file system does not fragment. I love the ext3 file system. I got 45gb of music and 2500 pictures. I had close to 60gb of music at one point. |
Re: Defrag Me I don't believe I've defragmented since May when my computer decided to reformat itself. When I first ran Vista I was amazed at how Microsoft seemed to take a step backward with the Defragment utility. Windows 2000 visually showed the state of your hard drive, but Vista was barely a pop-up box without any information. At least it's better than Windows ME. I tried defragging a couple of times and after three or more days they had not finished, and that was with a 37.2 gb harddrive. |
